First, the tour is led by myself, Jacob Prasch. I am a Hebrew speaker with an Israeli family. I have lived and ministered for years in Israel, and I have a post-graduate education in Judaism. Touring with a preacher who speaks the language and knows the land of culture is a big plus in itself. We will have Messianic Bible Studies on site: the Palm Sunday triumphal entry taught where it happened at Jerusalem’s Eastern Gate: the “Olivet Discourse” (Matthew 24) on the Mount of Olives where Jesus gave it; Saul and David at the cave of Ein Gedi, the birth of the Gentile Church at its birthplace – Caesarea; the “Sermon on the Mount” on the Mount of Beatitudes, Elijah on Mount Carmel and many more. If you really want to learn Scripture in its original Second, I will be taking you to a great many places of biblical and historical interest. Far more than on most tours. The extra days plus added admission charges means our tours will cost a bit more than some others, but only because we will be seeing more and learning more. We hope you will give feedback after that this was complete value for money. Finally, I want you to see not only the Israel that tourists see, but I want you to meet and hear local Jewish believers and also workers supported by Moriel who are bringing the Good News home again. I want you to meet Russian Jewish immigrant believers. I want to show you where the Gospel not only begun but also where it is today. I want also to show you the Golan and West Bank, and the prophetic implications of “Land for Peace”. There will be Hebrew worship, fellowship and time for shopping. But this is mainly a study tour with a heavy pace. It is not a holiday tour or primarily a devotional pilgrimage, so it is not suitable for babies or small children. Additionally, some of the sites we will visit may not be easily accessible to persons who are badly handicapped or very elderly. A free will offering will be taken during the tour for the work of The Lord in Israel. Not least of all we do not only want you to see Israel, but we want Israel to see you. When Middle East events take on a prophetic significance and the Nation Israel is increasingly pressured, unjustly bullied and misrepresented by media bias and when many so called Christians turn their backs on the persecuted Christian’s in the Moslem world but instead denounce Israel, it is important that the people of Israel see the difference between true Christians and false ones. We want the Jewish people to know that there are Bible believing Christians who stand with Israel who recognise its place in Prophecy and who do this not despite the fact that they are Christians but precisely because they are Christians. We will be praying against the principalities and powers of the air at work, and examining what can be understood at present concerning "Gog and Magog". 2008 will mark both the 40th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem after its liberation from Islam in 1967, and will also mark 60 years since the rebirth of Israel as a nation. Satan is operating through demonically influenced political forces in Washington and Whitehall controlled by the international oil lobby. The EU, UN, and the Arab League scramble to impede the prophecy of Jesus in Luke 21:24, and the stage continues to be set for the prophecies of Jesus, Daniel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel to take place. Road maps to future war predicted in God's Word are misrepresented by corrupt leaders as road maps to peace. But in the New Testament God's Word tells us: when they say "peace and security", then the end shall come. In biblical typology and literary symbolism, "40" has always been the crucial number for testing. We are witnessing the testing by God's Word of people claiming to be Christians. Nations claiming to be "Christian" and their political leaders who are often corrupt and hypocritical are also being tested. But we are also witnessing a testing of Israel and the Jewish people. |
